Curb shopping is so hot right. Curb shopping is the name I have assigned to stopping when you drive past free stuff that’s out on the curb for trash pick-up. We’ve gotten a bed, four cane chairs, a book shelf, and a futon from curb shopping in our neighborhood (see below). In the past, I’ve driven by items that might be of interest — mostly because I didn’t want to take the time to stop, or I felt weird about taking the items. I’ve since changed my ways, and it has paid off. Life’s too short to pass up on free stuff. If something lying out on the curb catches your eye, stop and take a look.
